IGA/Sobeys Quebec unveiled a new meal counselling service for social media users on Tuesday.

Company officials are confident the Gourmet Squad service, which features five virtual cartoon characters with food-fanciful French names like baker Micheline Painchaud and butcher Jacques Lebouef, will enable the retailer to better connect with its customers.
